removal of aftermarket headunit

removal of aftermarket headunit

stock head unit in my 93 was DIN so I had no trouble getting it out. i replaced it with a jvc kdr600 but i'm now replacing that. how do i get that one out?

What bracket did you mount it with? NOrmally, thosecome out with a screwdriver and a little twisting. Ihave a Poineer HU in mine now, and theother day I had to get befind it; a scredriver and a pair of needle-nose were all I needed.

These should have come with your Headunit. Pop off the faceplate and you'll see two slots for them on the sides. Push them in, pull them towards the center of the headunit while simultaneously pulling out. Deck should slide right now.

My pioneer mounts with 4 bolts 2 on each side. 8mm i think.

Thats what the dash kit mounts with. His 93 is a single din so the cage just slides into the opening.
