Help....
I just bought an 07 SCrew. The radio was the base no frills unit part #(7L3T-18K810-AD). I bought a factory radio off ebay that has the six disc changer MP3 CD and the Auxillary button part #(7L3T-18C815-AG), radio came out of an 07 F150. My truck has the Sirius Antenna mounted on the passenger side roof and also has the MP3 direct line in, on top of the dash along with the Sirius box under the radio in the dash.
My goal with the radio swap was to be able to utilize the mp3 plug in on top of the dash. When I switch the radio to "line in" and plug my iPod in nothing happens. Everything is connected... When I push the Aux button it just switches to "line in" doesn't go through the SAT 1, SAT 2, SAT3, Line in cycle.
Any ideas suggestions? is there a wiring harness I need to buy?

So you originally had a Sirius receiver in your truck or did you add it in with the 6 disc set up? I've read that some changes overs require a reprogram of the radio. But if the harness doesn't have the needed connections, you may have a problem.
The sirius radio was factory installed and still in the truck. I switched the stereo out to a factory 6 disc that supports sirius and mp3. Not sure what the deal is with "line in" not working. Can a dealership reprogram the radio?
If the dealer would do anything, they would charge you a bit. Give it some time, look up a guy named STEALTH. He knows his stuff.
Check with the radio that you got with the changer. More than likely it isn't programmed for Satelite radio support. As for why it won't accept your Ipod almost baffles me. How many harnesses connect to your 6 disc changer? My 07 Screw radio only came AM/FM/CD/AUX/Mp3CD and it requires two harnesses. One big one for the speakers, power, ignition, ground, etc. Then there was the smaller harness. I'm not certain what it was for but I speculate it was for the female 3.5mm stereo phono connector (aux input) and satelite radio (which my truck didn't have). I know it sounds weird but the radio may display a line input but not be hooked up for it?
Hopefully your issue gets resolved! Be prepared if you do go the Ford route though.

Phattacorider-
The new radio that I bought has one big plug in, which I am assuming is the power, speakers, ground etc. Then there is a smaller plug in, which by the looks of it is for the Sirius set up. I wonder if the AUX input is tied in with the Sirius?

I'm willing to bet that's what it is, that the little harness isn't plugged in to the radio. I had to put my factory radio back in my truck because I needed to send out my aftermarket one for repairs. I played my Ipod through the top aux port and it worked fine. But for testing purposes, I disconnected the smaller harness. The radio continued to function, but I got no audio output from the aux port. So I'm thinking that's what it is, the absence of the smaller harness into the radio.
