I ran my backup cam through the firewall as I didn't even think of going from underneath. I hear your issues for the 7000 but the fact that i paid 340 usd brand new in the box washed the negatives all the way

Hell if I had paid that little I would have put up with it too! I thought the price I got it for was a smoking deal, but no where near that cheap! And those are just my negatives anyway. If its what works for you, then that's all that matters

I have been looking at a TON of dvd/nav units lately and I'm sold on this one. My only concern is...will it control my factory overhead rear seat dvd? I have a 2005 Expedition Limited and I need to know if I will be able to control the dvd playback from the JVC unit. I currently have the factory Ford Nav/Radio and it just recently died. Checked with the dealer and it has to be replaced. Perfect time to justify getting something WAY better (and way cheaper than the $1,500 OEM unit!).

So can anyone tell me that it will work or that there is a way to MAKE it work? If it can handle this function I can justify the purchase with "the boss" (you married men know what I'm sayin...lol).

i have the JVC NT1 in my F150 with sirius radio...doesn anyone have this problem with the sirius tuner.

for some reason it displays "Aquiring Signal"....beeps for a while, and i cant do anything..i still have a signal and the Sirius is still playing, but i cant select any channels or anything...the only thing that fixes it is, turning off the car for a while....i hate this radio...

thought it might be a jbus problem for the JVC sirius tuner..i swapped out the tuner, but still have the problem..but didnt switch the cable from the JVC radio to the JVC connect sirius tuner....i tried everything except change the jbus and the actually NT1 which im about to smash into a million pieces..

Wow!!!!! i've been searching for months on my idea of the "perfect dub din player" and you have brought me to the light. Thank you very very much on the differences between the 2 players. I've always been a JVC fan and this helps greatly!!!!!
