Suggestions on new head unit?

Wanting to add a new dbl din head unit to my 07 SCrew and just looking for opinions. Definitly want dvd and navigation capabilities. I have looked at all the websites and like several but want to know what everyone else is running in their Fords and how they measure up! Thanks...

I have a Pioneer BT4000DVD (double din) touch screen. Fits great and have endless amount of options for it. Plus it retails for only $550-650.

He wants NAVIGATION. Look into the Eclipse, Pioneer or Alpine.

Pioneer 900 BT. I have it and absolutely love it. You can get it around $570 on amazon.

My one and only complaint is that the equalizer system is a little inferior to kenwood's.

I know some are against it, but I went with the JVC KW-NX7000. I added the XM and Bluetooth adapters to it and installed it all myself for just under $900 bucks total.

Some of the benefits

- SD card for the nav maps, no CD involved
- SD card for MP3 files and video files (supports up to 8gb)
- Only Double Din on market that has detachable face.
- Nav system is excellent and easily used
- Menus are all very simple and straight forward

I've got the face of the deck sitting here next to me on the desk here at the hotel. I have a great alarm in the truck as well but it does provide a little more security to be able to remove the face. That ended up being the reason I ultimately got it.

I have the Eclipse AVN52D, absolutely love it. Touch screen, DVD, Nav, Ipod adapter and Bluetooth. We used the Nav on our Tampa bowl trip and it was great, accurate and easy to understand. I picked it up here with everything above plus wiring harness and dash kit, couldn't beat the price:

If it were me, id rather not have a detachable faceplate on a double din screen. I can just see one slip up and your out 300-400 to replace it.

Pioneers also have the Sd card right on the front, and have flash memory for the maps.

JVC KW-NX 7000 like TJ said. Awsome unit, does everything you want. The detachable face is great also, just don't slip up with it and you'll have no problems. I think that is the first time I've ever seen anyone against a detachable faceplate.
