Smile Replacing Stock Audiophile 6 Disc Head Unit with Pioneer AVH-P4000

I just got my Pioneer AVH-P4000 today with dash kit and wiring harness. I have never done this before but from what I hear it sounds pretty easy, is there anything that I need extra before I do this? is it pretty much a Plug and play deal? my stock radio is a Audiophile 6 Disc radio. Thanks!

plug and play! make sure you cut all the correct tags off completely. It just makes it that much easier. Also you need a video relay or video bypass, so you can watch movies while you drive down the highway. Makes traveling simpler

You will need a PAC-SWIPS to retain Steering Wheel Controls. And depending on your year truck, an antenna adapter is necessary (MET 40CR10).
