How to Hook up my Ipod (don't worry I searched threads)

I have a 2004 Lariat 4x4, audiophile 6cd. There's no input or tape deck (i wish there was). I do not want an FM tranmitter. What can I do? I was searching other threads and they said something about a PIE, but i have no clue what that is. I have had the truck a week and i'm going nuts just listening to the commercials on the radio. All help/replies are greatly appreciated!!

I have the same situation in my truck. I really don't want to change the head unit.

This is the P.I.E. they are referring to.

I may have to go with that P.I.E. Although it's $90, that would be the cost of a "good" FM tuner. Does anyone have one that bought it from this site?

I haven't purchased one yet. I am still debating getting a new head unit in a few months. There is a member selling one in the classifieds for $75. Not sure if it has been sold yet or not.

Welcome

Do a little more searching, there's lots of threads on this that should answer all of your questions. Good luck

PIE Connection

The PIE connection would be better than an FM transmitter. With the FM transmitter you can have interference from other radio stations. The PIE is a direct connect and you will get the best sound that way.
