I believe the antenna on the 04-05's are different than the 06-08's so I'd need an antenna adapter.

Will this adapter make the proper connection I'll need? If not can somebody let me know what I need?

The reason for asking this is I can get the radio on a trade, no cost, and I need ipod connectivity, which the 07 deck I'm possibly getting has.

I swapped mine out for a 07 navi unit out of a Expedition. That appears to be the exact same adapter that I had (came with the unit).
