If you want ipod aux in get the PIE adapter on eBay. I too wanted to upgrade my relatively plain single CD on my 04 but I would rather either spend the bucks on a new aftermarket HU or a PIE adapter.
Look up some radios. Pioneer makes this awesome double din radio (no DVD, just single disc with am/fm, mp3 playback, and aux input). You can find some great d-din radios that allow you to toggle through your songs on your Ipod through the head unit, and allow to charge your Ipod. I know a lot of DVD head units (single and double din) will do that, but you can find some basic cd units that will do the same. I don't know how computer-fluent you are, but personally I find it much easier to have a cd player that plays mp3s instead of a disc changer (because I can put some 160 songs on a single disc and it plays just fine). As for the sat capabilities, that's dependent on the head unit, and you will need an antenna for that.
