Exclamation Installing an Alpine IDA-X100

I have a 2005 F-150 Single Cab with the 6-Disc cd changer in the dash. Recently the disc changer has started screwing up so I am going to replace the radio. I have ordered an Alpine IDA-X100 receiver to replace the factory stereo. Can anyone tell me the best tool to use to remove the trim from around the stereo? This info would be much appreciated.

i used a very large flat head screwdriver.. once u get the top off and disconnect the airbag light, you can pretty much take the rest off by hand, the plugs are not very sturdy and you may have to push them over one way or the other to get them to go back in right. Like the tabs you put the cover into, atleast in mine they like to move when you take the cover piece off.

I just get a good grip on it with my fingers and pull.
