Exclamation Please quick help! Xmas present on the line!

I am installing a new headunit in my dads 2008 F350 for xmas tomm... (Just like mine but King Ranch)... I am installing the PAC-Jack so he can maintain his steering wheel controls... i am SO CONFUSED by the directions...

Found here:
http://pac-audio.com/swixprogramming...ehicles&ID=208

It says to connect the White wire from the PAC-Jack to the PIN 18 (Gray/Yellow) in the connector... I have the wiring harness that goes to the headunit and then plugs into the truck in my hand...and there is no Grey/Yellow wire on it in PIN 18 it is BLUE in PIN 18 on the wiring harness in my hand... And then it also says to connect the white wire to PIN 18 of the car...and it also says that PIN 19 needs to be connected to chassis ground... but in the harness in my hand there is no wire coming from PIN 19...

I am SO confused... I am trying to get all the wiring I can get done before I go to the truck because he is not home yet, and when he does he will prob be up till 1am, and i want to do this after he goes to sleep...

PLEASE HELP!

Ok I think I have it... It means that the wiring harness IN THE TRUCK has a GREY/YELLOW wire in PIN 18, and also a BLUE/White wire in PIN 19... I am supposed to connect the white wire to JUST the GREY/Yellow wire... and then I am suppoed to CUT BLUE/WHITE wire in PIN 19 and connect that to GROUND... Does that sound correct? But on the aftermarket head unit it has a BLUE wire that is in the PIN 19 position but it says its for power antenna???

cut the purple loop and attach the inner purple wire with a transistor, to the white wire coming from the PAC unit.

then connect the white wire to the grey/yellow wire on the truck

then attach the red wire to a switched 12v wire

and then ground the black one

Don't worry about the blue (usually with a white stripe) power antenna wire. That's for an amp turn-on, or power antenna. Just leave it.

For Future Ref If someone searches this post... You DO have to GROUND the blue/white wire that connects to the wiring harness from the car... and then tie into the grey/yellow wire with the White wire
