I dont have an explanation that I can give you to fix it. I hear so many things that are problematic with these. Wish I could help you. But you may try the Jensen forums. jensenice.com. Sorry.

no worries.

at first i thought that maybe i wired my remote wire to the amp to the wrong wire. but then again i would only hear the subs when i was playin a cd. i may pull it and check, just to be sure. on the ford harness, the blue/white wire is the remot wire i think. not sure, ill have to look later.

The thing is, is if your wire was not on the remote wire then there would be two options: 1) Not playing at all or 2) Only playing when the FM/AM is on (wouldnt come on during the aux port)

well my amp remote wire was wired to the power antenna but it still worked on aux and am/fm.

i went ahead and wired it correctly, but it didnt seem to fix the problem

im not too worried about it, its just the fact that it doesnt work.

im looking into getting a different HU, with something like a 10 - 20 band EQ. i feel like i have no control over my music with this HU
