Avic D3 finally installed

I got my truck back last week after 3 months in the shop and finally had the opportunity to get the Pioneer D3 installed. Took it to a local shop and they did a great job at hooking everything up and the best part is they back up their installation with a free lifetime warranty. I had the D3 and bluetooth adapter hooked up as well as the Ipod cable. Total charge for the install was $162, which I really didn't think was too bad at all. Now on to the pictures.

Very nice, my brother has that system in his tahoe, and its really awesome! Lots of great features.

You're right, that is a pretty good install price.

Yeah they did the bypass for me and it works great. I asked the guy at the shop if he could do it and he just looked at me with this grin and said "we'll take care of that for you."

I love the D3 and I would of bought it but I don't like how the navigation works ... I ended up with the Z2, it's a good unit, too.

Pmason, whats the Z3 upgrade?

Pioneer recently released the Z3. I think some people are having the hard drives in their z2s upgraded w/ the z3 software.

To to OP: Looks good. I love my D2. It's saved my butt a few times when I needed to get somewhere in a hurry.

Im running the Boyo vtl-420, paid $85 with shipping on an e-bay store. 4 wires hooks it up (ground, acc power, reverse light, rca) and turn it on, on the head unit.
