Extra plug?

I installed my Pioneer head unit and noticed that there is an extra plug on the factory harness. Every thing seems to work fine but i unplug it from the factory cd player. What is/was it for?

Its the square one on the right.

Thanks

Subwoofer hookups, disc changer hookups, Sirius radio hookups, steering wheel control wire, etc... are all in those cables. So if you had those factory options, they would be hooked up through there.

just like they said above, its no big deal. its just the harness for any of the other goodies. If you ever do an Indash nav...your speed sense wire is in there.
