Question 08' audiophile system

plays when I shut the engine off and remove the key?, hardwired?
Do they all do that?

Yes,it will continue to play until you open the door.

Wink yeah,

my brother just showed for a few beers and laughed at me for not knowing, he's got an 06' F250. As much as I'm on this site and others I NEVER knew about this. I just realized about the seat belt warning light near the center dash coming on if you place a bag, etc. on the pass. seat that weighs about the size of a child to remind you to buckle up. Gotta read my manual more.

Yeah, they all do that... since at least 2004/2005. It'll play for 10 minutes after you turn off the ignition or until someone opens a door. Pretty much standard on all new vehicles out there.

My other truck does it... it is an 02 GMC Sierra.

1st you should be shot for saying that.

2nd Ford didnt have the RAP (Retained Accessory Power) until 2003. Then it started on the Expedition.

3rd GM has had that since 2001.
