07+ tray aux-in

I am looking for someone or a few of you to do me a favor. I am looking for the head unit part #'s that came in the 07+ screw's with the tray aux-in. I am only interested in the CD6/MP3 AUDIOPHILE and no steering control units only please. The easiest way to find out is have the radio on in radio mode, hold the 3 & 6 buttons for a few seconds and the radio will go into a self test. The part # will show up towards the end. It flashes pretty quickly so you may have to do it twice. Thanks for any help. I am looking to upgrade my 06 radio to an 07 so I can wire in the aux-in tray which is only supported by the 07 and newer models....
Here is a snapshot of mine when I did the self test. Part #6L3T 18C815 KE

I tried doing the self test like you said, and the 07 models only cycle thru a speaker test (LF, RF, LR, RR, SUBWOOFER 1) and do not show a part #, at least thats what mine did. Wait till tomorrow, I'll go pull my deck and get the # off of it.

BTW I have the exact HU your looking for, an 07 audiophile system without steering wheel controls.

That would be awesome.... I might be interpreting your message wrong but you say you have what I am looking for, are you selling it or are you just saying you have the one I need a # off of?? Thanks for the help.
If you get this message before you pull it apart, can you take a picture of the back of the radio with it unplugged? I am now searching and some are saying the plugs changed for 07+. Thanks again....

The only thing that has changed on the plugs is the antenna is new for 07, you can buy an adapter for it. When I put in my ipod interface, it stated that it only fit 05-06, and it was a perfect fit in my 07 and it works.

Since you were not clear as to my statement about having what you need, all I meant was that I had the exact one you needed the part # from. I'm not selling it.

Hey, thanks a lot for going through all that for me! Sorry, I thought it would be an easy check with the radio# like mine but I guess they changed that. I will save those pics for reference. I noticed some splicing done into your wires, is that from the interface you put in?

Actually no splicing involved, it just plugs in between the harness and HU. The wires you see are from the interface plugs.

May I ask why you plan on swapping in an 07 setup? If it's for an ipod or other mp3 player, the aux input is for audio only. It does not show track info on the screen of the HU, and you cannot control the ipod or other device from the factory HU. When using the aux input, all it shows on the screen is LINE IN.

Right now I have the PIE adapter on mine, but I want to add factory sirius as well (I already got a unit off ebay). I use the input for a portable dvd player's audio when playing movies on trips. I want to have an aux-input and sirius to work together and want to keep the factory look (don't want the extra stuff on dash to promote theft). I did a bunch of research and found a site that describes the ford radios. I found that only 07 & up supports the aux-in and sirius to work together.

So, I take it you plan to run your ipod thru the line in jack and the sirrus thru the sat input? Just so you know, if you plan on keeping the PIE hooked up, it will interfere with the sat input, both try to run at the same time. Thats what mine did, I had to choose between either the ipod or sat, I chose the ipod, the sat was useless to me.

Actually, You're close on that. I want to have the aux-in tray to run my dvd audio and my ipod. I also am adding the factory sirius box and want to eliminate the pie so I will just have line-in and sat. And like I stated earlier, I know there are probably cheaper & easier ways to accomplish this but I want to keep the simple factory look.
