does anyone know if trucks without power locks/windows ever came with the speaker grill covers for component systems like some of the trucks with power locks/windows did??? the reason why i ask is because im about to get a set of components and wanted to put them in that position instead of putting them in the sail panels or anything. i can always drill out those little holes i guess.

 

Nope, Im doing the same thing right now. The higher models have pre formed spots for tweeters. XL's and STX's dont have the tweeter holes. Im cutting out a hole in the panel and drilling out the little holes in the speaker grill.

 

would you mind takin some pictures along the way??? i would like to see how your doing it and how it turns out.

 

No problem dude. Once I get the power locks and windows done ill be right on to the speakers tweeters and amp.

 

i appreciate it. im kinda stumped on how im gonna drill them out without it looking like crap afterwards. i can come up with a way to mount the tweet behind the grill but as for drilling out those tiny holes, i have to say my hands are kinda shaking.
