What is MOFSET?

What is MOFSET?

I'm looking at buying the
Kenwood DPX502
USB/AAC/WMA/MP3/WAV CD Receiver with External Media Control

and is says • 50WX4 MOFSET

What does that mean?

Mosfet Definition is Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor.
It's the type of Transistors that the amplifier in the Head Unit uses.

Don't even worry about it...it is a type of transistor--I believe that they all have them now.

Thanks, I was just curious cuz the DPX302 didn't have it and the 502 did.
