I built my system for my truck a year or so back with:

Factory HU with line out to RCA converters
PIE aux-input for Sirius Radio
2 - Rockford Fosgate HX2 Punch 10"(RFD2210)
1 - Alpine MRD-M605 (1 for each sub
1 - Alpine MVR-F345
Rockford Fosgate 6x8 Componets (front)
Rockford Fosgate 6x8 Coaxials (rear)
Audio Control EQX

Yes, I know the Factory HU is probably not the best for SQ or SPL but I like the clean look and the in-dash 6 disc MP3 function.

Question is I found that Rockford makes line out converter unit that interface with most factory systems, and I wonder if that would be any better than the standard lineout to RCA's, PIE aux-input, and Audio Control EQX I have now????

P.S. I can only afford the RF 15band 3sixty.1 and not the 30 band 3sixty.2.

 

The RF 3sixty is pretty bad ***. Regardless whether or not its the 1 or 2. The interface is really nice. And you can use your PDA, cell phone or Laptop to run it. Change on the fly! The only really cool other thing on the 2 is time alignment. But overall A REALLY GOOD CHOICE!

 

Cool, and I assume I'll hear a larger difference between the PIE, Line out's, and Audio Control EQX??
