I have been looking for a cd/dvd in dash player and had a few questions. I want it to be somewhat like this http://cgi.ebay.com/7-IN-DASH-CAR-MO...QQcmdZViewItem Where it is a dvd player on top and a cd player on the bottom. I want a good reliable name but I don't want to fork 1000 for this. I was wondering if like a Hong Kong knock off like that one is would be worth getting or would I have nothing but trouble with it? Also would something like this even fit in a 2001 head unit? And one more question I have a XM radio and would like to keep it so is there anyway of rigging it up so I can still have my xm radio. lol on more question they just keep popping up, Can you get it to where like the movie will play thru my truck speakers and have like my sub hit so it would be like a surround sound theater?

Well see I have this dvd player in the basement that is for a vehicle. I want to put it in but it seems like it will be a big pain to put in and make it look good. So I was wondering if I could get a unit like that for a cheap price. But about everywhere I look they are pretty expensive and only want to spend a few hundred because I am wanting to get a chip for my truck and summer is about over so I won't be rolling in the dough like I am now.

Dont go cheap. I sold and installed stereos for way too long. The Hong Kong knockoffs are worthless. You pay for what you get. Buy Eclipse, Pioneer, or Alpine. Dont be dumb just save.
