Working Ipod Interface Adapter For OEM Radio

So far I've gone through 2 Peripheral PXDP2($99) adapters. They worked great for about a day and then I can't get any connection. I called Peripheral and they basically said the adapter and the radio aren't connecting for some reason, duh. He said there's nothing I can do. I know there are 2 other brands out there. Brandmotion($245) and PIE($169). Has anyone had any experience with any of these adapters? I want one that I can control my ipod through the radio. Thanks

I have the exact same problem...I'm on my second Peripheral box. Sounds like they have a problem with the Ford's. Mine is the PXAMG box, which is a newer model than yours, but I guess it still doesn't work. I am really peeved about this after spending the money on it.

Anyone have other brands that work?

I don't have this one, or any one yet, but it seems to be a decent setup. There are different levels from 1 to 5 with each one offering more options with each level.

I have the peripheral one, had for over a year. Still works just fine.

BTW- my truck is an 07 with the audiophile and factory sirrus, had to disconnect the sirrus, it interfered with the ipod.

05BLACKF150 - I have justed installed one of these in my truck but I don't own an MP# player just yet. I had to do some wiring and thought I would take care of this while I was in there.
On another note, I was curious how you liked your Superlift lift kit on your truck?

I really like the Superlift. It rides smooth and looks great with the skidplate.
I have had no problems with noises or aligment. I only wish I would have went with 35" tires. Then it would be perfect to me.

i just got my PIE unit from DiscountCarStereo.com (authorized PIE dealer) for $129ish. 2day shipping was ~ $16, bringing me to ~ $145 shipped....$15 cheaper than Crutchfield and shipping was twice as fast.

i plan on installing it tomorrow or friday. i'll post my results

update: VERY very happy with my PIE ipod interface. controls are easy to learn, SQ is decent (considering im still running the factory HU/speakers, Cleansweep and amps havent gone in yet), and (at least for me) switches between artists fast enough to not get annoyed
