2008 Head Unit Question

First off I tried the search and couldn't find an answer to this (or at least that I can be sure of).

I just got a 2008 F250 and my head unit has the "Line in" feature for an MP3 player on it. Here's my questions...

#1 Is there a cord that someone carries to go from the MP3 player to the unit, or do I have to use the Ford part for the cord.

#2 can I hook my satellite radio up to this plug?

I haven't seen the actual plug, but I'm assuming it's just a 1/8" phono jack. So the answer to both questions, if that's the case, is Yes.

yes and yes. I run both my satelite radio output and my MP3 player output to it. You can get the 1/8th to 1/8th cable pretty much anywhere electronics are sold, in varying lengths.

Looking at the Ford website, there is a 3.5mm aux input jack in the dash.

Use a 3.5mm stereo male to 3.5mm male wire which is avalible at any Radio Shack, BB, CC, etc. Looks like this:
