Stock head unit with "AUX" button.

I'm sure this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything on it. I hace a stock head unit with the AUX button, when I push it, it says "No AUX input".

Can I add a cable for my ipod to it? if so I take it there is a plug somewhere in the back of the HU right?

Thanks.

You can't hook your ipod directly into the AUX input. The AUX is not merely an audio input, it is a transmission bus which requires an appropriate source to enable it. You'll need an adapter such as the FRD04-AUX. The adpater costs about $80 and does require 12V power. It will allow you to connect your ipod via the 3.5mm head phone jack to the RCA inputs on the FRD04.
