07 Antenna Question

Hello this is my first time posting on this site as it is my first time owning an F150. I just purchased an 07 supercrew and am looking to put my alpine 9855 head unit into the truck. I have the head unit installed and working the only problem I am having is the antenna connector on the factory wire is not the normal style male connector. I was just wondering if anyone else has an 07 or knows if the 07 is the same as the 06 and what kind of adapter I need to plug the wire into the head unit. I talked to visions and none of them have seen an 07 and they tell me that an adapter is not needed for the 06. If anyone has any answers on that it would be much appreciated.

I know when you buy HU's from Crutchfield they include the antenna adaptor, so I am assuming they may also sell those seperately? Good Luck!

07 antenna

The connector is different. Ask for the connecter for an '05 Chrysler. Look at it before you buy it. It's a female plug that fits into the factory antenna and the aftermarket radio on the other end.

If it's similar to a GM one (small on radio side, large on antenna side), might have one... but they're like $12 tops.
