Talking CD 5000 on the way!

I just ordered an Eclipse CD 5000 HU! I got it @ cardomain.com for $279.95! That included a free dash kit, wiring harness, install kit, and free shipping. I'll post some pics once it's installed.

I got the same HU about 3 months ago. I love it! It is by far the best HU that I've ever owned. I have an 8gb iPod Nano hooked up to it, and it too works flawless. Enjoy!

BTW, that is an awesome price. I think I paid $475, and I thought that was a steal.

Everywhere else I looked, it was in the $500-550 range. When I saw $279 I about Sh%t! I got all the other stuff for free! The total price was $279.95. That's a great deal! I think the sale lasts through january. This HU is about 1,000,000 times better than any HU i've ever owned. It's probably overkill, but I can always upgrade the rest of the system!

Excellent price on a great unit. Not overkill at all, youll find yourself using the functions eventually.

I came close to buying the cd-7000 by eclispe but i ended up settling for a pioneer 9800 bt which has the blue tooth for your cell phone. I do have to say the unit is amazing and the color is great and the sound is even better. So far it has made my stock speaker"which will be removed shortly" sound like a concert hall inside my truck. The big thing that sold me on the pioneer instead of the cd-5000 or 7000 was the larger band eq and the blue tooth capability.the pioneer unit list for 550 and i picked it up on ebay for 335 plus 10 bucks shipping.
