Lightbulb CD stuck in OEM HU...

on an 04 6 disc changer. It was my favorite Toby Keith mixed CD One day it just wouldn't play. Then I tried to skip to another disc and it wouldn't play. One day I got mad and punched the headunit. Then the other discs would play except for the TK in disc slot one. Well in fear of other discs getting stuck I ejected all the other ones. Well I got tired of listening to the radio so I inserted a disc and it played. Funny thing is the TK disc is still in there but the CD player reads the slot 1 being empty. So my question is, how do I get this CD out?

Pull the fuse for a few seconds on the radio then plug it back in. That will reset the radio and should see the cd.

CD's getting stuck in the 6 CD unit is pretty common. If the truck is still under warranty, the dealer should replace the head unit.

I've found the CD players seldom reboot if you unplug them and then plug them right back in. I've normally have had to leave them unplugged over night. Upon reconnecting power, the whole system will do a reboot and cycle through all the CD's. Sometimes you have to do this more than once.

The '05 6-CD MP3 player is particularly finiky. I've had them spit all the CD's out while driving. The TSB does say to R2 the head unit is problems persist.
