Sorry I don't have any pics yet, but I recently bought an Eclipse CD5000 ($475). This is one awesome HU! Most importantly (for me) is that it has great SQ, and alot of adjustability. It also looks nice with the interior.

Jvc Kd-hdr1 Hd Radio

I installed the JVC in my 2000 F150 7700 and I am impressed. I don't have many HD stations but what I get is excellent, I can't believe the difference in AM. Once you hear HD AM you will not go back to normal radio and of course this is free. JVC radios have been around a long time before all the big and bad radio's of today, I know I've had them all. Let me tell you that for $175 for radio and install kit there is nothing out there that can match it. Also the Ipod adapter works very well a great add on for $50 for anyone who has an Ipod. Great radio and great price. No, I don't work for JVC....

I like my JVC KD-SH77. It is a few years old. I bought it in 01 and it still works great. I think I paid $400 from Crutchfield. It was top of the line then. I always return to JVC when I'm looking for a new HU.

First post asked about single din HD radios.
I bought the JVC HDR1 in April. I sell Alpine and Kenwood but I wanted to try the JVC since it was all-in-one and the least expensive indash HD radio on the market. It has MANY features and is a good product. The HD works well and sounds good. However, the sound quality is not on par with Alpine or Kenwood products. It does pick up the multicast channels (HD2 etc)but you can not set them as a preset. The EQ is marginal. The display does not wash out in sunlight which is a bonus. The remote is small but functional and if you hold the button, it will search for the next HD channel and skip regular AM/FM channels. Front, rear, and subwoofer RCA preouts. Great unit for the price of $199-$25 HD Radio rebate.
