I have a JVC cd player in my truck, it's about 4 years old. Ever since it was new, some cd's just stop playing for 2-3 seconds. It could be a brand new cd out of the package, or an old one. Could happen sitting still, or driving. Any clue as to what this is? Just a gremlin? An excuse to buy that Alpine i want?

 

Sounds like a broken cd player.
