Aux/SAT Input for Audiophile w/DVD

Does anybody make an adapter that will allow you to connect a satellite radio, MP3 player to the factory audiophile WITH the rear DVD system? Everything I have been able to find so far will not work with the rear DVD system. I have a Sirius Starmate that I want to install in the Expy, but I'm trying to avoid the whole FM thing. Or does anyone have any ideas for hard-wiring it?

Try there and

Email them also to see if that will work.

FWIW, I had Sirius directly connected to my Pioneer head unit and through FM in a different car. Not a whole lot of difference. Most stations are so compressed its similar to an FM station anyhow. I did notice less high freq. sounds on 100 and 101, which are not music, but IMO the cleanest sounding stations.

Hey thanks. I emailed autotoys to see, but it sounds like it should work. I'll have to wait and see what they say.

I finally got a reply from PIE. In case anyone is interested:

"The FRD03-AUX/100 is not compatible if your vehicle has factory Satellite or RSE installed. If you have the RSE installed in your vehicle, you will need PIE Part #'s X3-FRD/P2 & X3. This setup will allow you to maintain use of your RSE and add an additional three RCA Auxiliary Audio Inputs."
