Need help installing a sony xplod cdx gt20
In a 91 f150. I currently have a tape deck (doesn't work) in my truck. I'm wonder what is all required. If somone could give me a step by step instruction.

since you have the older style of truck, your stereo is a single DIN, meaning that your new stereo is the same size as the old one. what you will need is the adapter for the wiring harness, you can probabally pick one of those up at Wally World for under $20 bucks, Crutchfield says that, that Head Unit doesn't fit your truck, but it most likely will, without a dash kit, to remove the old radio, you will need a set of DIN tools, which you can get at walmart also for i think 5 bucks, get some crimp caps, and a crimper so you can connect the wires together. I'm not sure if your truck's radio uses the DIN tools to remove it or not, just see if your current radio has 4 holes, 2 on each side about 1" apart, if those holes are present, then you will need the DIN tools, if not, then you don't and the radio is most likely bolted in.
