hi i have a 2000 f-150 and it has a single disk. when u insert a cd all it does is make a clicking noise then ejects the cd. any help will be greatly appreciated

My guess, your 6-7 year old HU has probably played its last CD. The laser could have died, the head fell off of the track, something broke. Who knows? In my experience, you're lucky to get a CD unit to last for 5-6 years of normal use.

Do a Google and you'll find several companies that repair OEM HU's for a flat fee (usually $80-$125). You could also go to ebay for a replacement or buy an aftermarket unit.
