mines a Panasonic CQ-C7303U

I love it, fairly easy install, i ordered from Crutchfield, simply b.c they include all the necessary mounting brackets if the HU is over i think 200.00$

I Really enjoy the 3d dot matrix display it has....

Its not super high end or anything like that, but it does everything i wanted it to. Its 50wX4 and i ran a Y adapter for the line in, so i can plug any MP3 player right into my HU (with the AUX setting)

Hasn't been in for long, but it does more than I need it to do, If I could only figure out the USB thing.

I love my set up. I got this before the flush mount screen was available but this way no one knows I have a DVD player when it is closed.

In order to install a 2 din stereo in 97-03 model f150s, you need to do some modifications to the inside of the dash. It's not too difficult, and only requires a steady hand, a sharp knife or dremel tool and some patience. The part that needs to be cut out is the angled plastic that slopes downward from the front to the back. After you do this, your new 2-din headunit will fit.

Shtrdave - That's super-clean! Did the trim ring come with the 701? I just ordered a 501 and bought the trim kit from Crutchfield because I wasn't sure.

Nice job. Looks like it came with the truck! Can't wait.

I put in a JVC AVX2 last night and so far I love it. Single Din, 3.5 in screen DVD player. No pictures in the truck as of yet, but its a clean head unit.

No detachable parts on Kenwood double din. They do have a 4 digit security code you can set but that is it.

Let me know how you like it and post some pics when you get a chance. I was looking at that one as well because I don't want to shell out a grand for a screen.
