Thumbs up OEM Head unit replacement

Does anyone know if a stock 6 disk in dash changer, will by replacing a single disk CD. I have a friend who wants to sell me his 6 cd in dash unit out of his 06 Lariat, and I have the single cd. Will his cd have the same plugs on the back as my single cd or are there any special mods that I have to do.
Mine is an 04 XLT.
If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Robert Smith

I don't know for sure, but I can't imagine any wiring would be different....should be a plug & play type thing. As long as you have the space, ie: double din opening. Obviously there may be left over wiring on the head unit, but the basic speakers, power & ground should be pretty universal.

no, the six disk did not have audiophile, ive looked at pics of both, and it looks like the six disk will plug right into my harness. both are double din, so i hope it wont be any problem.
