Wiring- Metra

Is metra the way to go with the wiring adapters and the dash kit?

Looking at 70-5520 wiring adapter and a 99-5807 DASH kit.

Anything better or worse?

Those are the same numbers that were on my Metra manuals that came with the receiver mount and harness adapter that I used. Very happy with the fit and flush mounting I got when I mounted the receiver and the adapter was a perfect fit. I've seen mention of Scosche mounts others have used and from what I've read they were very happy with these, also.

My gallery has some pictures of the Metra you've mentioned with an Ecipse AVN 6600 receiver/nav unit.https://www.f150online.com/galleries....cfm?gnum=7700

Thought the URL to the Crutchfield order page for these parts might help :
