Question Leasing a truck w/o audiophile-what to do

Hi guys,
I am going to lease a new xlt and want to upgrade the stock system on a budget since I will have to take it out in 2 years. What do you suggest? (I know I want a sub, just don't know anything about them-previous truck had audiophile). Where should I go to get it or any other upgrades? (I'm in the Ann Arbor area). Thanks.

Crutchfield has a ton of info and will help you get started. Thats where I ended up getting my new head unit as well. Good luck.

I know :)

From a true car audio lover I will give you three completely great options for car audio...

For great speakers/amps but on a budget go TMA..Total Mobile Audio. Was my first system ever in blazer...

It [the company] was created by the vice president of design for Rockford Fosgate, then bought by JL audio as a sister company... same quality as JL, just way cheaper...

Crossfire car audio. I currently haVE crossfire. cf103d subs.. Love em, love em, love em.Each sub cost me about 80$, plus a pro box about 190$....

Technical Specifications
10" Subwoofer, Dual 4 ohms, 2" 4 Layer Voice Coil on an Kapton Former, Push terminals, 32oz. Magnet, Bumped and vented backplate, Polypropylene cone with UV protection coated foam surround, Wrap around rubber gasket, 250w Max.

Of course, there JL audio...

Over priced I feel, but great quality, thats why I said if you like JL just go with TMA....

For me it was between JL and crossfire, I just couldnt see paying an arm, leg, and left teste for some speakers at that time.

Head unit... eh... stock, using LOC converter....

If you want component speakers, IE replacing door speakers, I'd get speakers that can handle at least 200 watts a peice pushed by a speperate amp...

MoshNet could not be more right. My only advice is if you are not installing it yourself then make sure you have a good installer in mind, especially since it is a lease car!
