I picked up an CD6/MP3 head unit to replace my '04 single disk player and my brackets are flat and the head unit I got has these spacers on them like they fit inside the mounting hole. But the holes where the screws go isn't big enough for these spaces to fit. Anybody seen this? I can post a picture if nobody knows what I'm talking about. I can drill out the plastic but I still don't think it will sit flush but it will recess some.

The head unit I got was from a '06 Ford 500
