How do i go about removing the stock head unit on my 05 fx4 supercrew. i dont see how to remove all of the trim around the hu so i can get it out. Thanks for any help.

 

Do a search---there is a thread with detailed instructions and pictures. I'd post link but am short on time. I did it according to instructions in that thread and it worked perfectly.

 

its very easy..... the dash serounding the radio and your ciggarette lighter snaps out, there are no screws holding it into place. start at the upper left or right hand corner(doesnt really matter wich side) and pull outward and work your way down snapping out the dash....if you have trouble at first use a small flat head and in the slit above the dash apply some presure outwords...the dash will snap out of place......once you have the dash off its just 4 bolts holding the radio in.
