i want something that still has somewhat of a face plarte when it is closed not a plain look with just buttons and when it is playing cds i dont want to have something cool on the screen

I'd get the new alpine double-din when it comes out.

 

Check your state laws.
In Missouri the car would be illegal if the screen can be seen by the driver.

Just because someone makes it and sells it doesn't make it legal for you to use it everywhere.
IE: In dash TV can be mounted in a boat, 100% legally.

 

Alpine is truly the best. They take their time releasing stuff and when they do, its right.

I went from Pioneer to the IVA-D310. I will get the DD alpine when they release it.
