Alpine Double Din

Just found this on their website. Supposed to be released in January 2006. Looks pretty good:

Yeah, I saw that the other day. Another guy posted it in a different thread. It has some nice features, but I don't think I'm gonna like it as much as my IVA-D310. But, I'm definately gonna check it out right next to a IVA-D310.

I was digging the stackable amps...that's pretty cool if you have room to mount them that way.

Yes you have to add navi. Alpine makes great stuff but, nothing is built in. Dolby Digital processing, navi, things like that are extra modules.

Bry...The 310 looks awesome but, I was thinking about the double din install of the Alpine. Double din looks great in the dash.

I dont blame you. I like the double dins too. I chose the 310 for it's features and picture quality.

I wonder how the pic quality of the Alpine double din compares to their single din? I love the Kenwood DDX7015 in my F-150 but, in my Honda Pilot, it does not work. The angle of the install makes it hard to see. The viewing angle is a bit lower than center. I went with an Eclipse AV8533 but, I really prefer a double din. I am going to have to try and find the Alpine when it hits stores and check it out.
