Installed Hidden CB Antenna

Just installed the hidden CB antenna (JC Whitney ~$20.00) into my 2006 FX4.
Will eventually mount my CB into the dash where the ash tray is located, there is a lot of empty space behind it. CB works good, I usually use it when travelling for bear reports or B.S.ing with a vehicle that is travelling with me. It is not for long distance transmitting.

I agree with you that it's definitely not for long distance. I hated mine when I had it in, but it's better than none at all.

Check out my install before you tear into the ashtray. This may be easier...
