Avic N2

Ok i am looking to buy a pioneer avic N2 and i really dont want to spend two gs and then hit a pot hole goin 60 and it skips on me. I want it to be as good as my factory 6 disk or i want it to be better. My factory 6 disk does not skip no matter what i put it threw. Also i do not want it to skip when my bass hits like i have a old head unit and that skiped when i turn the music up. So my question is will the pioneer Avic N2 skip and what are some of the other down falls of it.

I can't tell you the last time I owned a car stereo that skipped. They have come a long way in the ESP technology these days, so I think you'll be alright. What you won't be, is watching a movie or changing destinations while your driving, with the AVIC N2. It can tell if the truck is moving trhough GPS, so at this point, no one has come up with a fix.

see this is what happens when someone posts something about a bypass and no one reads it, if you search for "bypass for avic n2, i spent countless hours trying to find a bypass that works for the avic n2, i finally found one, but ended up getting an alpine unit , anyway, it can be done...

Thanks guys for the answers keep um comin please. also what do u mean i will not be able to change destinations when driving like i just cant make my point of intrests another one while driving. I have to pull over and put in the cd then do it. Also it is possible to have me playing a cd and also have the navigation up and hearing voice prompts. does anyone know? If not what will happen cant have both on or you just wont hear voice prompts with the cd in and playing?

It wont skip. I have seen demos with car stereos clamped into paint shakers and they dont skip.

Although the last car stereo I owned that skipped was a pioneer. That was 1990. Im sure things have changed.
