Hi folks this is new to me so I thought I would share with the rest of you. Hopefully this isn't old news. I took my 05 screw lariat to the dealership today because the radio display was flickering from bright to dim. The tech said he cleaned the harness connections and the pins on the back of the hu. He said he checked for DTC's (diagnostic trouble codes) by pressing station presets "3" and "6" at the same time, so I gave it a try and learned that if you do this and then push any button 1 through 6 your radio will give you info such as: station signal strength..0-100%, it will play each speaker one at a time, give you dtc's and several other bits of info.. Each button gives you something different. You do this while you have a station playing. Cool huh!
