Can someone give me some tips or point me to a website that will make the removal of my head unit easier. It is an 05 lariat with the center shift console if that makes a difference.
I am trying to verify that the wiring for the factory subwoofer is there before I buy the sub from e-bay. I have already found the wiring under the rear seat but from my understanding it may not go all the way to the h/u.

You have to pull out your ashtray alittle stick your fingers behind and pull firmly I think there is 6 prongs it will come out.

 

another tip: it might feel like your going to break something, but it's pretty tough so just keep pulling. Then, unplug the airbag warning light from on top of the head unit (push down and pull to the right) so that you can actually get to the head unit to remove 4 screws, WALAH!
