AVIC-D1 Disc Update coming in two weeks

Talked to pioneer today and they said a new AVIC-D1 dvd-rom update is coming out in two weeks and will have a software update on it as well as new maps.

haven't heard, but i doubt it, altho there is no technical reason that i can think of that prevents them from doing a s/w release that allows it
