Cassette to CD-player
Cassette to CD-player
Today I removed my stock radio out of my 97' Ford F-150 XL. Just now I have my Pioneer CD player to put in. But I'm not sure how it goes in, I believe I have all the wires needed. I just have never installed a cd-player before. Could someone help me out?

Your cd player should come with instructions, so I don't know what Color your power wire, left right speaker wires are ect, Thier sould also be a drawing on the back of the CD player....Keep the old conecters of the Factery ford raidow, once your figure out the power and speaker wires, by diagram on back of cd player, qick conect the old factery plug ( you will have to cut this off old ford R.) to the new wires on the Cd Player, than just plu it in, You might have to run speaker wire to the back if your truck dose not have speakers behind the seats.
The CD player did not come with any instructions. It was a friend of mines who had gotten a new cd player recently and gave me his old one since my stock radio only has cassette. I'm not sure if there is a diagram on the back of the CD player on which wires connect to which.. I will look and reply in a minuet... be right back then..
Okay I am looking at the CD player now (Pioneer DEH-5 SuperTuner III D; 40wx4) ... I do not see a any diagrams or install instructions on the back of the CD player. I believe all the wires are here. But I'm not sure..
Black,Blue/White(SYSTEMREMOTECONTROL:TAG),White/Black,Gray/Black,Green,Green,Purple,Purple/Black,Gray.
Those are the color of the wires sticking out in the back.
I'm not sure which ones are for speakers and which are power.
I kept all the old connectors that connected to the stock radio. They are still in-dash.
