I'm so lost, I have a Late production "04 Lariat (09/04) and have bought the audiophile head unit and sub to replace the standard 6d indash unit my truck came with. I have found the harness under the back seat that connects to the sub, have removed my radio, but can't find the harness which connects to the head end of things. Is there a chance that it's not there, I would thinki that if I have one end the other would be a given to be there. does anyone have any advice, I hate to start putting things back together just yet. Did have one interesting find in the process though, seems the the boys at the Dearborn plant like to party on the job, I found a roach behind the dash, go figure, I thought grass went out with the
Galaxie 500.

 

The harness to the headunit should be there if you have the harness under the seat. Usually, the harness for the headunit might tucked away in the dash or might be zip tied to some wires really deep in the dash. keep searching in the dash and hopefully you will find it. many times, they hide those wires away so they will not get in the way.
