MP3 Folders
I am looking for some advice on how to burn my MP3s.
Is there a way to eliminate the F1 / T1 display?
For instance, instead of F1/T1 -- it would be nice if it read AC/DC (for the folder name) and Hell's Bells (for the track info). As of now, I have maybe 10 folders with 5-8 songs in each, however, I am unable to view actual folder names--just F1 etc..and song names appear after it starts playing.
Thanks

If you have all of the files labeled with an ID tag from when you rip the file (contains artist, song title, etc.), the HU will be able to read them from the file. You can choose what you want to view by pressing the text button (Button 6) It will cycle through file name, artist, song title, etc. each time you press the button. If you want it to always go back to the chosen display, say artist, all you have to do is press and hold button 6 for a certain amount of time after you have pressed it to display the artist. It will then revert back to displaying the artist each time you play the CD. I hope I was clear enough, if not let me know! Hope I could help out!
EDIT: After reading your post, I think I just explained what you already know, if not, then it was useful advice! Sorry about that!

Thanks for the help.
The files have ID tags with artist, album, title, etc when I burn them, but the title is the only thing that shows up on the HU display. Hmm...
Also, anyone know how to burn tracks and folders to a disc in a specific order? I thought I had figured this out on musicmatch, but when I tried the disc in the truck, all the files/folders were in alphabetical order, not the order I had tried to put them in.
Minor issues, but it would be nice if I could get them straightened out.

1. AC/DC - Money Talks
2. AC/DC - Thunderstruck
3. AC/DC - You shook me.....
If I wanted to put them in a specific order, as the above order is what they would be placed in alphabetically, I would do this:
1. 01 - Thunderstruck
2. 02 - Money Talks
3. 03 - You shook me.....
If your ID tags are written properly, it will still display track name, artist, title, all that good stuff, and the filename will show up as above, but I don't have mine set to view the filename, mine is set to view the song. Anyway, I have found that to be the easiest way to order the tracks. It is a little bit more time consuming than just straight burning them, but it gives you the convience of song order. Same thing goes for the folders, you will have to number them appropriately to get them into the correct order. Hope I was able to help!
How do you create different folders in musicmatch on mp3 cd's? Mine are all in one folder, my head unit lets me put them in order by the other I burned them in, but I want them in different folders, dos anyone know if musicmatch will do this?
