I got into my truck this morning and turned on the radio. My FM stations were nothing but static, but AM and my CD's played just fine. Best Buy hardwired my XM Roady II to the Radio power supply; however, I don't see how this could have done anything to the FM signals? Anyone have any idea's?

By the way, it's a '04 Screw with only 3,500 miles on her. She has the regular 6 disc in dash CD player/HU.

I am guessing the Roady is connected to your HU via the antenna cable and a modulator?

If so, I would check the connections to the Roady. It sounds like something came loose and your HU is not getting the FM feed from the Roady...

Does the XM still work?

 

Thanks for the reply. The only part of the XM that is connected to the HU is the power supply. The power from the Roady II is directly connected to the power on the HU. The Roady II has a wireless FM Modulator so there's no part of it connected to the FM Antannae on the HU. The Roady II is still picking up the satellite signas fine. It's just that the HU will not pick up any FM signal.
