Can't get a 99. They didn't start making them until 2000.

its gonna be tough to find a 00 HD for 19K max unless its really high miles and/or not in very good condition. around here a 00 would go for around 28-29K
good luck in the hunt though, keep us updated on your finds

That's hard to believe. I can't see anyone paying that much. Maybe as high as 24-25K if bought from a a dealer and 2k less through a private party. Then again, "there's a sucker born every minute."

I bought my 2000 HD from the dealer in october for $21000. It was in mint condition with 26K for miles. You just need to know how to talk to those people. And if they want to sell it they will. It doesn't hurt that I went to schholl with the managers son though.

if you lived here, you wouldn't find it so hard to believe.
Back when i got my truck, you couldn't get these trucks around here for less than msrp. i payed msrp, but i know a few people who payed the 10K markup on the trucks. Rip off yes, but remember, this was the 1st year for the trucks, and no word on how many to be made or how many years, other thank knowing it was limited edition.
If somebody had a great condition 00 HD for sale, low miles (20K or less), practically flawless everything else, factory fiberglass tonneau cover, a dealer would get 28 without much problem. these trucks are still rare in south jersey, and EVERYTHING here is more expensive than other places in the country LoL
back in august the dodge dealer sold a used 01HD with 10K miles that went for 36K new for 33,000 it was filty too. the got it from a repo for really cheap, and sold it and made a killing and never washed the thing. LoL

My friend is the head salesman out at Ace Ford up the road, and they sold 3 2002 HD's, not a single one went for under msrp.

so 28K for a mint condition HD around here is what dealers would be getting. Somebody selling it themselves would probably get 26K

13K is a steal for that truck on ebay though, even with all those miles!

Well, the 'cheapie' on eBay went for $19,100. Still a decent deal, but a long way from 13K. Plus, it really did have pretty high mileage.

Well, it did sell below "trade in" value as can be seen below from NADA.

As a point of interest, though, I emailed the seller with several questions regarding accidents, etc. the vehicle might have had several days back, and never received a response. I wouldn't have bought it even at 13K under those circumstances.

2000 Ford F150 PICKUP-1/2 Ton-V8
Flareside Supercab Harley 6 3/4'
47,000 miles

"WS" designates Work Truck
1,3,5,7 or 8 as the 3rd position of the model # denotes 4WD
Average Trade-In Average Retail
Base Price $21,825 $24,900

Mileage Adjustment
47,000 miles subtract: ($375) ($375)

Total Price trade in $21,450 retail $24,525

Can't give you any pricing information (or even specific dealer information) but can tell you that I saw quite a few used HDs on the lots in the Springfield, MO area over the weekend. I saw at least 4 '00s, and two or three '01s.
