AHHHH!!! DO NOT drill holes for the squirters!!!! They dont' use the stock squirters for them!!. I'll snap a pic tomorrow for ya of how they look. its like a thin metal tube thing, about 3" long that screws to the bottom of the hood and the end sticks out the back of the hood, between the back of the hood and the cowl. Very stealth install. looks like there is nothing there at all from the outside, but they work great.
i'll get a pic of them tomorrow for ya, its pouring rain out now
I'm assuming the hood hasn't been painted yet if he's asking you this incase he has to drill the holes? If so, tell him to just paint it. they get installed after the hood's painted and everything. no drilling or anything. just 2 little screws into 2 holes that are already molded in the bottom of the hood.
What do you mean with the inserts? The holes on the back of the hood aren't drilled? Or the holes in the insert itself isn't drilled?
As for the light placement, its supposed to attach to the bottom of the hood. There should be a little hole on the bottom that it snaps into. It will look really fugly there though with those scragly wires running up to it on that smooth and painted hood. Here's where i remounted mine. There was already a hole there, and the clip popped right in, so it worked out great.
to turn it on, i just turn it 90* to the right, and to turn it off, just turn it back the other way

aight here's some pics. hopefully this will help ya visualize what i'm talking about
This is the bottom of the hood. At the back towards the firewall. The rubber tubing with the washer fluid in it runs into a thin metal tube that screws into the bottom of the hood into a little hole that should be there, and the squirter tube just sticks out the back of the hood and gets sandwiched between the hood and the cowl

Here's all that shows when the hood's shut. Its hard to see, and excuse the dirt on my truck..its still too cold out to wash it, but i'll probably do it this weekend. anyway, there's the little tube, the spray pattern is prettty good

here's the back side of the inserts. i drew arrows were the 2 screws, screw into the back of the hood. there should be 2 little holes back there that they go into. I didn't use the stock inserts, i had some custom matching billet ones made, and made my own brackets, but it uses the same 2 stock screws to hold it in
It sure does get dirty quick under there. LoL

hope this helps ya out some.
