Simple enough question. I'm just curious as to what you guys think. Just a simple yay or nay will do.
And not just neons in general, or purple neons on a civic crx, but red neons on a HD truck .

Nay, I never did take to any add-on lights on a vehicle other than fogs.

 

I have always liked the idea of neons, but I never did want to do it to my truck. I just think it is played out too much by the ricers. If it was a little less common it would still have originallity.

Im going to have to go with nay. I like the look, but i wouldnt want to associate a HD, or any other FORD pickup with a ricer. I am 100% heterosexual and its staying that way

that pictue doesn't do the neon any justice.. i put a set of orange neons on his truck a while back & it looks badass at night.

they aren't as bright as my set, but still pretty cool!

i guess i shouldn't post pics then when i get mine on huh? LoL. i just wanted your guys honest opinons. I kind of like em, and nobody around here has them. I can't remember the last time i saw neons on a car or truck or ricer around here. It was probably over a year ago, i saw purple ones on a transam.
found out today my dad ordered me a set online for christmas. they were only 150 bucks for a set of streetglow gold class red neons (usually 300 something), so i'll see how it looks. I kinda like em if its not overdone and the bulbs are hidden. If not, its not like they are a $500 set of lights.

like i've said before, its your truck, do what ya want to it, so i'll see how they look. i think it would be cool for cruises at night or whatever to get a little more attention. and no ricers have them around here, otherwise i definatly wouldn't put them on. LoL!

maybe its an age thing, since most of you are old farts on here. LoL j/k.

i'll probably have some questions for ya brooks when i go to install them. won't be doing it until spring gets here probably though.
